You’ll join a strong and supportive pre-contracts team and be given the mentoring, trust, and backing to transition into estimating properly — not thrown in the deep end.

The role

As the Civil Estimator, you’ll work closely with the Lead Estimator and established pre-contracts team to help secure medium-to-major civil works across Queensland.

You’ll prepare accurate first-principles estimates, contribute to tender strategy and methodology, engage subcontractors and suppliers, support tender presentations, and help strengthen bid outcomes through practical delivery and commercial input.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–5+ years contractor-side civil estimating experience, or strong operational civil delivery experience with some first principles estimating exposure
  • Public infrastructure experience preferred
  • TMR / Main Roads exposure highly regarded
  • Practical knowledge across roadworks, bulk earthworks, bridges and/or concrete structures
  • Sound capability in first-principles estimating
  • Exposure to Expert Estimation Genesis is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and commercial judgement
