As a Senior Civil Engineer within a fast-growing consultancy, you’ll play a central role in delivering city-shaping master planned communities and subdivisions for some of Australia’s leading developers. This isn’t just another design role — you’ll take ownership from approvals through to delivery, gain direct client exposure, and earn a seat at the table where real decisions are made.
You'll be backed by a Principal Engineer who values mentorship, autonomy, and growth. You’ll gain the support to step toward the Principal level while still getting hands-on with the technical and commercial aspects of projects that shape Queensland’s future.
Current pipeline includes:
– Multi-stage 2,000 - 8000+ lot subdivisions
– Urban expansion corridors
– Greenfield and brownfield precincts
– Projects valued between $10M and $100M
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead major subdivision and urban development projects across SEQ — from concept to completion
- Manage design coordination, development approvals, and construction contract administration
- Work closely with tier 1 developers, councils, consultants, and contractors
- Assist with team resourcing and project forecasting, supporting the Principal Engineer
- Oversee budgets, risks, and timelines, with end-to-end project accountability
- Build and maintain strong client relationships — play a key role in securing repeat business
What You’ll Bring
- 5–10 years’ experience in land development or civil infrastructure project delivery
- Solid technical foundation in civil engineering with a delivery-focused mindset
- Demonstrated success managing subdivision or master planned community projects
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing environments
- Commercial acumen and sound judgment when navigating project risks
- RPEQ status (or working towards) is highly regarded
- A collaborative team approach and a drive to mentor and grow with others
