Ready to play a central role in shaping Queensland’s newest communities? This is your chance to join a growing consultancy with a strong national presence and a solid pipeline of residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects across SEQ.
As the Civil Project Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex master planned community projects—guiding clients through every stage from early due diligence and approvals, through to detailed design, construction, and handover.
This is a newly created role driven by significant growth, backed by a strong national team of engineers, planners, and delivery specialists. Option to be based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast offices is available with regular client interface and a clear mandate to run the show.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive the delivery of subdivision and land development projects across SEQ, from feasibility to completion
- Manage development approvals, engineering designs, and construction contract administration
- Be the go-to contact for clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on track
- Identify project risks, troubleshoot issues, and make sound commercial decisions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships—existing and new
- Mentor and manage junior staff, helping build out a high-performing team
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and profitability with accountability to leadership
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience delivering residential or mixed-use subdivision projects in QLD
- Deep knowledge of local council and state authority processes and stakeholder negotiations
- A background in civil engineering, project management, or related discipline
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets and financial performance
- Natural leadership skills with a passion for mentoring junior staff and creating a supportive team culture
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a drive to deliver quality outcomes for clients
