This role suits a commercially savvy Civil Project Engineer who wants real responsibility and the chance to back themselves. You’ll gain broad exposure across all civil disciplines in a smaller contractor environment with significant upside through a project bonus/profit share structure. You will be responsible for:
- Managing RFIs, QA documentation, ITPs, site records and technical submissions
- Supporting construction planning and sequencing
- Working closely with Supervisors, crews, subcontractors and Project Managers
- Tracking costs, productivity, procurement and overall project performance
- Identifying risks, opportunities and commercial issues early
- Coordinating drawings, technical queries and constructability reviews
- Contributing to safety, quality and environmental standards
- Helping build a strong team culture based on accountability and respect

What You Will Bring Ideally:
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years’ civil construction experience
- Background in TMR/Council, roads, bridges, drainage, pavements or earthworks
- Solid skills in QA, RFI, cost control and project coordination
- Clear communication across all levels
- Practical, solutions-focused mindset and ambition to progress to Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager
